Today Microsoft announced, through their official Microsoft Blog, that Ces 2012 would be the last Ces show they will be attending with a keynote and booth. "We have decided that this coming January will be our last keynote presentation and booth at CES." The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) can't be too pleased about losing Microsoft at Ces. Microsoft still plans to attend future shows walking around the showroom floors, talking to partners and customers. Why the sudden change? Microsoft feels that early January date does not generally align with their product news or milestones.
